3 New details about LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away…

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens releases on the 28th of June on the following platforms: PC, PS4, PS3, PSVita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Nintendo 3DS & WiiU.

TT Games has stated that this game will bring in new gameplay mechanics, it will have brand new stories that is not too  far from the original movie and you will have non-stop fun!

3 New details about LEGO Star Wars
1) Amazing BB-8 Gameplay

TT Games revealed different ways BB-8 can use the environment, and enemies to get from place to place and defeat the stormtroopers. BB-8 is able to mount droids for a good time, roll attack his enemies and use his grapple hooks to cling on bolts and levers in the environment and open large gates, for his companions to breach a specific zone.

All sounds from BB-8, are the same sounds that were heard in the movie.

2) 6 New Stories

LEGO have added six new story levels that can be accessed by completing levels and collecting golden bricks.

TT Games said that the levels were designed and edited with LucasFilm, but TT Games were allowed to write and were given freedom to change the stories at TT Games’ discretion in order to add the fundamentals of LEGO to this epic franchise. All the voices of the StarWars characters are done with the original cast like Harrison Ford, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Adam Driver to name a few.

3) Flight Gameplay Has Been Improved

In previous LEGO games the flight sequences were very limited, they are fun don’t get me wrong just the movement was quite linear and you could not fly to various areas within a level that you found interesting. Regardless of the movements, the arenas were quite static too. In The Force Awakens they have included new arena style flight levels in some levels you can control the Millennium Falcon where the mission is to shoot down a set number of TIE Fighters.
