Asian flair has been added to the beautiful game
For years now it is well known that prior to any FIFA release there is an announcement of a new league or country that is added to the roster of teams.The one that has been announced this year is the national league of Japan, the J1 League and J.League Cup tournament. You can call it a surprise but the previous exclusive licence holders were Konami and PES, making you wonder if PES is loosing its grip on its own market!
EA also announced that all 18 clubs from the nation’s J1 league are to be included in FIFA 17, including Nagoya Grampus, for people who did not know is the former residence of current Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and British sports broadcaster Gary Lineker.

According to EA Sports and the new game engine Frostbite FIFA fans will play in a cinematic play through of Premier League’s next rising star Alex Hunter. Players will be able to choose any club in the Premier league as Alex, besides playing with the worlds best players will also be able to play alongside the most authentic managers ever seen in a football game. Alex Hunter’s Premier League career is impacted by your performances on the pitch and also the decisions you make off the pitch.
Now that the J1 League and J.League Cup tournament coming in FIFA 17, will you as Alex Hunter play in any of the 18 clubs?
EA Access members on Xbox One and Origin Access members on PC can play the game early with demos and trials.
FIFA 17 is launching on PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One & Xbox 360 on 29 September.
