ACGL Announce The First Tournaments For Season One

Season One Officially Commences Tomorrow!

The African Cyber Gaming League has stated that they have listened to the South African gaming community and will now provide regular tournaments for local gamers to compete more regularly. ACGL have also announced that gamers can expect weekly tournaments that are completely free to enter and will be a combination of casual and competitive play. These tournaments will use ACGL’s XP system to track gamers rankings across the various leaderboards.

The first season kicks off tomorrow on the 15th of March and will end on the 30th of April 2017.

GAMES TO BE PLAYED IN SEASON ONE

  • Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare (PS4)
  • FIFA 17 (Xbox One, PS4)
  • Halo 5: Guardians (Xbox One)
  • Overwatch (PC, PS4)
  • For Honor (PC, PS4)

INITIAL TOURNAMENT DATES

  • 15th March: Overwatch 3v3
  • 16th March: COD Infinite Warfare 2v2
  • 18th March: FIFA 17 1v1
  • 19th March: COD Infinite Warfare 4v4, For Honor 1v1, Overwatch 6v6
  • 21st March: FIFA 17 1v1

The tournaments will be one night cups starting at 19h00, with registration available a week before the start date. ACGL will announce more tournaments at a later date



REGISTRATIONS & OTHER INFO

  • All tournaments will start at 7 pm
  • Please be sure to read through tournament information before registering.

  • Please use a PC with Google Chrome when registering.
  • Registrations for each tournament will open seven days before the start date.
  • All tournaments operate on a first come first serve basis.
  • All participants must communicate to ACGL via ACGL’s official Discord server.
