Nintendo unveils new 2DS XL handheld

Nintendo is not done with hardware releases in 2017

Nintendo has revealed that on 28th July Nintendo fans will have another handheld to chose from in the  Nintendo 3DS range set at  $150 (R2,000). The new Nintendo 2DS XL fits between the Nintendo 2DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL handhelds. Nintendo also revealed the 2DS XL will launch alongside three new games: Hey! PIKMIN, Miitopia and Dr. Kawashima’s Devilish Brain Training: Can you stay focused?

What’s new about New Nintendo 2DS XL?
New and improved

The Nintendo 2DS XL will be available in a stylish Black + Turquoise colour as seen below, as well as in White + Orange and both will have the same large screen found on New Nintendo 3DS XL handheld but will only display in 2D. The 2DS XL is lighter, features built-in NFC for amiibo support and has the same power as the New Nintendo 3DS XL. This new handheld has a massive library of Nintendo 3DS, New Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS games to play but only in 2D.
