rAge Expo 2017 – Dell, Alienware, Incredible Connection and Bravado Gaming are set to be all the rAge this weekend

rAge Expo 2017

Meet SA’s top competitive gamers, win prizes & discounted gear

It is time for the annual pilgrimage of all South Africa’s gaming enthusiasts. The rAge Expo is once again ready to show off upcoming titles, cutting-edge hardware and the latest accessories, as well as plenty of chances for attendees to show off their gaming skills. But visitors to this year’s expo are in for another treat: a chance to meet the e-sports athletes from Bravado Gaming, as well as opportunities to win exclusive Alienware prizes and score a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 laptop at an amazing price.

Take an Alienware selfie and win

As a leading brand in gaming systems, Alienware will be at rAge to showcase its latest systems, as well as frequent giveaways of caps, mousepads and more swag during the three days of rAge.

Visit the Incredible Connection stand to learn more about Alienware’s incredible machines and gear. Then take a selfie in the Alienware frame on the stand and post it using #ALIENWAREGAMEFACE and @DellEMCSADC for a chance to win one of the awesome Alienware prizes on offer – including an Alienware Vindicator 2.0 Backpack, Alienware TactX Headset with Adaptor, Alienware Vindicator 2.0 Messenger Bag and Alienware hampers.

Meet the Bravado pro gamers

Bravado’s Counter-Strike:Global O00ffensive (CS:GO) team will be at rAge to compete in the first ESL African event, presented by Kwese. The top two South African and top two North African teams will be battling it out for a R 300,000 first place. Bravado will also be represented by their Call of Duty (COD) team, there to compete in the VS Gaming Championships. On Saturday, 7 October, these elite athletes will be taking a break from their firefights and visit the Incredible Connection

On Saturday, 7 October, these elite athletes will be taking a break from their firefights and visit the Incredible Connection stand for an exclusive Alienware meet & greet. Appearing only for one hour from 12h00 to 13h00, they will be posing for photos, signing autographs and even offer some advice to get the most out of your gaming. The first 500 visitors to the meet & greet will also get exclusive signed Alienware gifts.

“I’m looking forward to meeting some of our friends and fans at our meet-and-greet, handing out some cool prizes and interacting with social and competitive gamers,” said Aran ‘Sonic’ Groesbeek. “If you have any questions or need to know anything about how to get your e-sports career started, come visit us at the stand on Saturday and we’ll have a chat and maybe I’ll share a secret or two.”

His fellow Bravado gamer, Dillon ’Lithium’ Charalambous, is as enthusiastic about meeting their fans: “I’m looking forward to meeting up with our fans and friends! It will be a great experience for the fans as well as my team and there will be some great prizes to be won! It’s going to be a great weekend and we are all looking forward to it.”
